P3 – Portland, Maine

The Design Challenge: To renovate and reimagine a workspace for this growing and innovative commercial video production agency.

The interior architecture had some dated motifs that did not fit the aesthetic of this forward thinking and creative group. BDC cleaned up the lines, updated the lighting, and created a new benching solution with sit stand desks. This proved to be a perfect solution that allows the team to collaborate easily.

The open, fun, and bright office environment needed space definition. With the addition of planters, flooring finish changes and new lighting, we were able to delineate the entrance from the workspace as well as the workspace from a fun gathering spot. The standout feature being a large dining table (with benches) that converts to table tennis. This not only builds comradery but is a great way for employees to take an active break away from their work.
