Evergreen Credit Union – Windham Maine

The Design Challenge: To design a new LEED certified retail credit union branch in Windham, ME.

The credit union design vision focused on creating a space that helped connect members to their coveted lakes region. In order to achieve the design goals, we worked to create a narrative that tells of rivers, trees, mountains and lakes, while introducing materials that evoke a natural aesthetic while maintaining the client’s desired modern style. To incorporate visual elements that allude to scenic beauty and community appreciation, the branch design features three large original photographic images of Sebago lake and surrounding landscapes. These art features greet members as they enter the modern and bright lobby space.
