Two Lights Dental – Cape Elizabeth, ME
The Design Challenge: To create a bright, open and modern dental office design capable of reflecting the philosophies and personalities of Two Lights Dental’s team, community, and clientele.
Positioned in the heart of Cape Elizabeth, Two Lights Dental’s new office needed to reflect their commitment to serving the families of Cape Elizabeth and surrounding communities with an accessible, collaborative, and integrative practice. In collaboration with Mark Mueller Architects, Bowerbird took on the exciting challenge of transforming a brand new build into a welcoming dental practice.
For this dental office interior design project, the Bowerbird team was responsible for selecting finishes and furniture, along with multiple features crucial to patron experience like lighting and doors. Custom millwork and a slat wall added detail and depth to the reception desk, serving as a welcoming intake area while prominently featuring the Two Lights Dental branding elements.
Throughout the lobby, bright walls and light wood tones were accented by seating options in bold blue, mellow green, and cheerful yellow, creating a modern and upbeat waiting area where patients of all ages will feel comfortable. To bring the outside in and nod to the coastal town’s natural beauty, plants were placed throughout the dental office, adding verdant hues and organic texture to the lobby and hallways. A lush and eye-catching plant wall was constructed to accent the waiting room, contributing a rich pop of green to the sunny and contemporary space.
This dental office design project resulted in a fresh and bright space ideal for providing comfort and care to the families of Cape Elizabeth.
