Infinity Credit Union – Portland Maine

The Design Challenge: To design a unique and contemporary retail branch for Maine’s first and oldest Credit Union in Portland.

Infinity Credit Union’s first Portland, Maine branch needed to serve as a blueprint for future branches while combining historic and modern elements of Maine commercial interior design. As Maine’s first credit union, the new branch location required a design that could reflect the brand style while also paying homage to in Maine’s heritage of loggers, fisherman and LLBean. In order to balance all desired details in this credit union design project, we worked to create a rustic-luxe aesthetic by mixing warm reclaimed woods with clean smooth maples, stone, mixed with rich browns and grays. To tie in modern style, we added pops of color which stand out against the warm, rustic palette, exemplifying Infinity’s vision for a contemporary space with a connection to their past.
